As a celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert, Birgitte has worked for almost two decades with some of the most influential people in the world. From Beyonce to Richard Gere, from The Duchess of York to P. Diddy, and from Anna Wintour to Condoleeza Rice, her clients are a virtual who’s who list in the world of music, entertainment, fashion, politics, publishing, sports and business. Her passion is bridging the worlds of high fashion, glamour, beauty and celebrity to the everyday woman through her work; empowering them to to look and feel their best.

She has helped some of the top creative forces in the worlds of media, film and advertising bring their artistic visions to life, working behind the scenes on projects for HBO, Calvin Klein and Vogue, with visionaries such as Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier and Martin Scorsese.

As a beauty expert Birgitte works as a spokesperson, consultant, and on-camera expert with many of the top national beauty brands, magazines and television shows. She has the ability to spot opportunities for creating products that speak to a mass audience, has helped companies and magazines such as Revlon Professional and InStyle tap into undiscovered markets, helped build celebrity relationships and viewership, and identified and improved key areas of weakness in product line and presentation, subsequently driving bottom line.

Considered an inspiration to many who feel beauty and self-confidence is unattainable, Birgitte has become a writer, speaker and on-camera personality with an expertise and passion for making high-end fashion and beauty products more accessible and relatable to the masses.

Her message? “No matter how far outside society a woman may feel, she has the right to celebrate herself and feel beautiful.”

Some of the ways that she makes beauty more accessible is through her in-person makeup workshops, online classes and demonstrations. Birgitte is also a frequent contributor to many national women's magazines giving makeovers, makeup lessons and beauty advice to readers.

Birgitte gives lectures on beauty issues and is currently writing a book titled, Become a More Beautiful You. The book gives the everyday woman simple and practical tools to look and feel her best: from makeup tips and “how-to” demonstrations on “real models” to inspirational interviews with women who have overcome beauty issues.
